On December 31, 2024, the upper structure of the limestone powder silo in the civil engineering of the desulfurization unit of Guoxin Jingjiang 2 × 1 million kilowatt unit expansion project was capped under the witness of leaders from four units. The upper structure of the limestone powder silo is also another important node after the inverted absorption tower of Unit # 3 and the excavation of the public desulfurization process building.
The bottom elevation of the four floors of the upper structure of the limestone powder silo is 17.4 meters, with a thickness of 100mm and an area of 17.9 square meters. The longitudinal length of the bracket is 20.6 meters, the transverse length is 9.3 meters, and the height is 17.4 meters. The installation height of the formwork support frame exceeds 8 meters, which belongs to the category of ultra hazardous engineering. The four story floor column beam frame is densely arranged with steel bars above the formwork, making it difficult for small concrete vibration rods to pass through in some areas, resulting in high technical and construction difficulties.
After the joint efforts and hard work of the leadership and project team, the pouring task was finally completed with quality and safety before the end of the year.
