On December 31, 2024, the Chongqing Fengni Aggregate Project reached an important milestone - the successful hoisting of the 114 belt gallery steel truss, marking a perfect conclusion to the project construction in 2024. The steel truss is connected to the finished product storage warehouse and automobile bulk workshop to the west, and to the aggregate screening workshop to the east. The truss is a steel structure with three spans, a total span of 105.7 meters, and a total weight of 212 tons. Due to the large cross-section, span, long components, and large quantity of steel trusses in this project, as well as the limited construction site and working conditions, the project department adopts the method of ground assembly and overall hoisting. To ensure the safe and smooth progress of the lifting operation, the project team members each performed their duties and started the preparation work for the lifting in advance. A series of work, such as the lifting plan and studying the site conditions, were implemented one by one before the lifting, effectively ensuring the smooth implementation of this lifting operation. The lifting was carried out using a 600T truck crane and a 130T truck crane for reverse transportation and lifting, and finally smoothly positioned, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent installation of the belt conveyor.
