At 11:58 am on June 29th, the steel box girder spanning S312 mainline on the Xingyang section of Jiaoping Expressway, which was constructed by a metal structure company, was successfully closed. This is another stage of progress made by the project since the completion of the pedestrian overpass steel box girder erection task at the end of April, and also laid a solid foundation for the full line connection of the project.
The bridge is divided into two sections, with a total span of 137 meters and a deck width of 40 meters. The total weight of the steel structure is 3100 tons, which is a key control project of this project. Since its first hoisting on May 14th, the project department has faced high temperatures and intense heat without fear of challenges, demonstrating Henan's installation responsibility with a fighting attitude. It completed the installation task of 119 sections of the main line in just 47 days, achieving the goal of closure 15 days ahead of the required nodes by the command center. It has been highly praised by the owner and the supervision unit.
Next, the project department will continue to work hard, closely monitor milestones, strengthen organization, strictly control quality, accelerate the progress of the production and installation of steel box girders for the subsequent two ramp roads, and contribute Henan installation strength to accelerate project construction and achieve the goal of opening to traffic as soon as possible!
