Recently, the Science and Innovation Building and Sports Field Project of Luoyang Institute of Technology Affiliated High School, undertaken by the Municipal Engineering Division of the Group, was successfully completed. A modern Science and Innovation Building has risen to prominence, and a well-equipped sports field has been freshly unveiled. From blueprint to reality, from construction to delivery, after a year of meticulous craftsmanship, this campus project — carrying the development vision of the school and the expectations of its faculty and students — has been officially completed.
The project is located in Jianxi District, Luoyang City, and officially commenced construction on June 1, 2025, with a total floor area of 15,312.56 square meters. The Science and Innovation Building features six stories above ground and one underground, housing functional spaces including an academic lecture hall, capable of meeting diverse educational needs such as science and innovation education, academic exchanges, and comprehensive practical activities. The sports field covers approximately 3,640 square meters and includes three volleyball courts, two tennis courts, as well as supporting facilities such as an ecological plantation and a leisure garden for teachers and students. The underground section is equipped with 60 parking spaces for motor vehicles.
As a key project in the Company's implementation of the "Luoyang Headquarters Growth Pole" strategy and its deep commitment to local livelihood engineering, the completion of this project will further enhance the school's teaching and sports facilities, creating a higher-quality, more comfortable, and modernized environment for learning and growth for all teachers and students.
Since the commencement of construction, with the overall coordination and strong support of various competent authorities and the project owner, and in the face of tight schedules, heavy workloads, and high standards, the project team adhered to scientific organization and meticulous management. Centered on the project construction goals, the team continuously optimized construction organization designs, rationally allocated personnel, machinery, and material resources, and coordinated the efficient operation of all work processes. During the construction period, the project faced considerable schedule pressure due to multiple constraints, including prolonged extreme weather conditions, school examination suspensions, and restricted construction hours during teaching sessions. To improve work efficiency and minimize the impact of construction noise on the teaching order of the school, the project team implemented various noise reduction and control measures, flexibly scheduling work wherever and whenever possible. They rationally divided construction zones, orderly staggered main structure construction, mechanical and electrical installation, interior finishing, and external works, minimizing idle time and ensuring the project progressed as planned.
While pushing forward with the schedule, the project team consistently prioritized both quality and safety. In terms of quality management, a "sample first" system was implemented — for key processes such as ceiling installation, wall and floor tiling, ground paving, and bathroom detailing in the Science and Innovation Building's interior finishing, physical samples were first created. Standards were confirmed before full-scale work commenced, ensuring uniform and standardized construction and achieving high-quality results in a single pass. The academic lecture hall, as a key area, received strict control over decorative detailing and full-process quality management. Regular classrooms and functional rooms also adhered to fine-grained construction standards, ensuring that every space meets future teaching and usage needs. In terms of safety management, the project team strictly implemented the safety production responsibility system, continuously strengthened standardized and regulated on-site management, solidly carried out safety education and training, and conducted thorough hazard inspections and risk mitigation, firmly holding the safety bottom line.
After a year of meticulous craftsmanship, the Science and Innovation Building has become a vital hub for the school's science and innovation education. The sports field and various athletic venues have greatly enriched the physical activity spaces for teachers and students. The ecological plantation and leisure gardens, meanwhile, have added greenery and vitality to the campus. The completion of this project not only represents a comprehensive upgrade of the school's infrastructure but also injects new vitality into the enhancement of educational quality, the cultivation of students' comprehensive competencies, and the development of campus culture.
Brick by brick, a campus is built; with heart and soul, the future is nurtured. From the start of construction to its successful completion, this project embodies the perseverance and dedication of the builders over more than a year. The smooth delivery of the project marks a successful conclusion to the construction mission and serves as a new starting point for supporting the education sector and advancing the school's development. Going forward, the project team will continue to provide after-delivery service support, actively cooperating with the school in facility operations and maintenance to ensure the full realization of the project's benefits and to contribute solid strength to the high-quality development of Luoyang's education sector.
