Recently, the comprehensive production base project of Youya (Guangdong) New Materials Co., Ltd., undertaken by the Municipal Engineering Business Division of the Group Company, was successfully completed. From a blueprint on paper to a realized physical structure, from groundbreaking and foundation laying to the topping-out and completion of the factory buildings, after hundreds of days and nights of meticulous craftsmanship, this modern industrial plant has officially been completed successfully.
The project is located in Xinfeng County, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province. It officially commenced construction on April 1, 2025, with a total planned land area of 34 mu and a total construction area of approximately 15,000 square meters. Its main construction content includes a three-story office building and two steel-structure factory buildings. As a key project for implementing the company's "Three Poles" development pattern deployment and deepening its presence in the South China regional market, the successful completion of the Youya project marks another fruitful achievement for the company in industrial project construction in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and also contributes to the continued expansion of the South China regional market.
Since the start of construction, the project has faced severe climate challenges. Affected by persistent extreme weather such as typhoons and plum rain, the local area experiences nearly 260 rainy days throughout the year, compressing effective construction time by nearly half. Tight schedules, heavy tasks, and high standards became the three major difficulties facing the project team.
In the face of unfavorable conditions, the project team adhered to scientific organization and refined management, continuously optimizing the construction organization design around the project construction goals, reasonably allocating personnel, machinery, and material resources, and coordinating the efficient operation of all processes. By reversing the schedule, controlling nodes, and making dynamic adjustments — the project team adopted a flexible strategy of "working hard on sunny days and working smart on rainy days" to minimize the adverse effects of severe weather, ultimately achieving early completion and delivery of the project and fulfilling its schedule commitment to the owner.
During construction, the project upheld the philosophy of "quality first, safety foremost, efficiency as the foundation," strictly implementing national and project-specific standards in areas such as drawing review, material entry, process and concealed works acceptance.
In terms of safety management, the project team firmly implemented the production safety responsibility system, strengthened on-site standardized management, carried out regular safety education and hazard inspections, and firmly held the safety bottom line.
