Successful Start-up Glass Draw Achieved for No. 4 Furnace of Anhui Flat Glass Phase IV Project

On April 1, 2026, at 9:10 a.m., amid cheers and congratulations, the No. 4 furnace of the Phase IV Project of Anhui Flat Glass, constructed by the Glass & Fiberglass Engineering Division of the Group, successfully completed the start-up glass draw.

The Anhui Flat Glass Phase IV Project is currently the largest single glass furnace in the world, featuring significant construction challenges and high requirements from the client. Upon receiving the task of commissioning from the client, the project team responded promptly and mobilized personnel to the construction site on the fifth day of the Chinese New Year. After more than one month of dedicated efforts and overcoming numerous difficulties, the team successfully fulfilled the client’s requirements on schedule and completed the start-up glass draw.

This achievement demonstrates the team’s commitment to addressing the client’s urgent needs and anticipating their expectations, earning full recognition and high praise from the client.
