At 11:18 a.m. on December 8, the ignition ceremony for the cold repair and upgrade project of the electronic glass production Line 1 of Xinyi Glass Co., Ltd. was grandly held in the production plant area. Accompanied by the blazing flames inside the furnace, this marked the official entry of the electronically controlled glass production line, which had undergone a comprehensive three-month cold repair and upgrade, into the kiln heating phase. It heralds a critical milestone toward the resumption and full-capacity production, signifying that the company has taken a substantial step forward in upgrading its layout in the field of high-end glass manufacturing.

This electronic glass production line has been operating stably for many years. In June of this year, Xinyi Glass Co., Ltd. initiated a comprehensive cold repair and upgrade project, which not only involves routine maintenance and enhancement of the production line but also serves as a key initiative by the company to align with the industry trends of "high-end, green, and intelligent" development in the glass sector. With a total investment exceeding 100 million yuan, the project focused on energy-efficient refractory reconstruction of the core furnace, replacement of high-precision tin bath temperature control systems, installation of advanced flue gas desulfurization and denitrination equipment, and simultaneous upgrades to the production line's intelligent monitoring modules.

During the cold repair and upgrade period, the project department established a specialized technical management team and collaborated with design institutes to optimize the construction plan. The use of new refractory materials and modular installation techniques reduced the furnace construction period by 15%. For the debugging of intelligent systems, technical experts from equipment manufacturers were invited for on-site guidance, completing over 200 parameter calibrations to ensure operational precision meets industry-leading standards. Meanwhile, the project strictly adhered to safety production and environmentally friendly construction requirements, achieving zero emissions of construction waste and compliant control of construction noise throughout the process. It was recognized as a local "Green Construction Demonstration Project."

At the ignition ceremony, Wang Feng, General Manager of Xinyi Glass Co., Ltd., fully affirmed the achievements of the project department. Upon completion of the cold repair and upgrade, the production line is expected to reduce glass melting energy consumption by 10%, increase product yield to over 98.5%, enable mass production of 2.0mm photovoltaic textured glass supporting products, and significantly boost annual production capacity. The implementation of this project not only drives the company's transformation from traditional architectural glass production to the high-end manufacturing sector but also adds a significant milestone to the future cooperation between both parties.
