Wangcheng Avenue Expressway was fully completed on November 29

At 9:18 am on November 29th, with vehicles slowly passing by, the Wangchaoling Interchange to Lianhuo Expressway section of Wangcheng Avenue Expressway, which was constructed by Municipal Engineering Department of Henan Province Installation Group, was officially opened to traffic. Zhao Shuzheng, Director of Luoyang Housing and Construction Bureau, Yi Xun, Director of Urban Management Bureau, Liu Hengtai, Commander of Wangcheng Avenue Command, Huang Kezheng, Chairman and President of Henan Province Installation, Xie Zhongjie, Vice President, and Wang Jianfang, Assistant to the President and General Manager of Municipal Engineering Department, attended the ceremony.

This section of the road runs from the exit of Luoyang Station of Lianhuo Expressway to the starting point on the north side of the airport road interchange. It has a total length of 2.75 kilometers and includes a hub-type interchange. It is an important traffic link between Mengjin county and the urban area. The smooth opening-to-traffic is of great significance to improve traffic congestion in the region, facilitate citizens’ travel, and improve the quality of surrounding traffic. The completion of the Wangcheng Avenue Expressway marks the rapid connection between Luoyang Station on Lianhuo Expressway and Yique Station on Ningluo Expressway.

At present, the opening node of the main line of Wangcheng Avenue Expressway has been successfully completed. Next, the project department will speed up the construction progress and comprehensively promote the construction of the project’s ancillary projects to ensure that the auxiliary road will be accessible before New Year's Day. We will  complete the project construction tasks with stricter requirements , and continue to enhance the development of Luoyang city.
