On the afternoon of November 28, 2024 at 15:28 local time, the B-line arch of the Xinyi Float Glass Phase I project in Indonesia, which was constructed by the Glass Fiberglass Division, was successfully closed. Wu Yali, Assistant to the President of Xinyi Glass Research Institute, Cheng Haijun, General Manager of Xinyi Float Glass Indonesia Company, and Wu Zhenqun, General Manager of the Glass Division I, participated in the locking ceremony.

The Phase I project of Xinyi Float Glass in Indonesia is located in JIIPE Industrial Park, Jinshi County, Surabaya City, East Java Province, Indonesia. It is situated in a tropical area with an unbearable humid and hot climate. With the arrival of the rainy season, it is often the scorching sun in the morning and dark clouds in the afternoon, causing heavy downpours. In order to ensure the smooth completion of the locking node and not delay the next ignition goal, the project department recently organized first and second line construction management personnel to work overtime to meet the construction deadline. After the rain, the accumulated water area was large, the on-site roads were muddy, and mosquitoes were breeding. In the evening, a large army of mosquitoes came rushing towards us, causing unbearable suffering for everyone. In order to ensure the construction environment at the site, the Project Department has launched the hot smoke mosquito killer, mosquito prevention spray, mosquito incense and mosquito control lamp to improve the construction environment as much as possible. In the end, with everyone working together, the big arch was successfully closed.

The successful completion of this lock up event marks a milestone victory for the project and is also an encouragement to all personnel present. The project department will further arrange the construction process reasonably, focus on construction management, strictly control quality and safety, and steadily advance towards the ignition node target required by Party A.
