At 19:32 on November 22, 2024, the Yibin project successfully passed the "72+24" hour full load trial operation, with stable unit operation and normal indicators. Under the joint witness of the construction, general contracting, supervision, operation, and construction units, the complete set of units for the Yibin Second Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Environmental Protection Power Generation Project was successfully startup.
The Yibin Second Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Environmental Protection Power Generation Project is equipped with 2 × 500t/d mechanical grate furnaces and 1 × 25MW steam turbine generator unit. As the only provincial key project in Xingwen County, Yibin City, and also as a pilot project for the new model of Everbright, the project has received high attention from all parties since its commencement. Under the leadership of project manager Lu Longge, the Yibin project department has clarified its responsibilities, optimized on-site management, strengthened construction forces, overcome difficulties such as poor site conditions, adverse weather, delayed drawings, untimely material supply from Party A, and difficult cross operation of civil engineering, and maintained project progress.
After the second phase of the Yibin Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Environmental Protection Power Generation Project (Phase I) is put into operation, it can process 400000 tons of garbage annually and generate 160 million kilowatt hours of green electricity. While harmless treating urban solid waste, it can greatly alleviate the electricity shortage in surrounding counties and cities.
