On September 8, 2026 local time, the large crown of the melting furnace for the Algeria SOLARIS 600T/D ultra-clear rolled glass production line project — designed and general-contracted by China National Building Material International Engineering Co., Ltd. and constructed by Henan Installation Group — was successfully closed, marking a key milestone victory in the project's furnace masonry engineering and laying the foundation for subsequent ignition and production commencement.
The project is located in Larbaâ, Blida Province, Algeria. It is a key project of Henan Installation Group in response to the "Belt and Road" Initiative and in deepening its presence in the North African building materials market. It is of great significance for filling the gap in Algeria's local ultra-clear rolled glass production capacity and promoting the upgrading of the local building materials industry.
Facing the characteristics of large project span, high precision requirements, complex construction environment, and limited on-site personnel, the project team implemented full-process refined management of key processes such as crown brick processing and arch formwork erection in accordance with design drawings and construction specifications, arranged technical backbone personnel to be present on site throughout the process, and ensured that all construction data met or exceeded design requirements, thus guaranteeing the successful closure of the large crown.
