At 1:10 a.m. on June 6, 2026, with the precise issuance of the grid-connection command, Unit 2 of the Wuzhou Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Power Generation Phase II Expansion Project in Ningxia successfully completed its rotor turning. All unit parameters remained stable and met requirements, all tests for the turbine, generator, and other systems passed qualification, and the unit operated under overall good conditions, achieving a successful grid connection on the very first attempt.

The project is located in Wuzhou City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, in a typical outlying mountainous area of the frontier region. It is a key livelihood and ecological environmental protection project for the city. Upon commissioning, it will hold significant practical importance in effectively enhancing the region's waste treatment capacity, alleviating the city's disposal pressure, realizing the conversion of waste into valuable resources and clean power generation, and improving the regional ecological environment.

The commissioning process for this project was complicated, technologically demanding, and highly challenging. Compounding these difficulties were the windy spring weather and frequent sandstorms typical of the frontier region, which created both subjective and objective adverse conditions. Nevertheless, the commissioning personnel involved in the construction overcame these difficulties by refining task assignments, strictly controlling procedures, identifying and eliminating potential hazards, and standing fast around the clock with full dedication. Through their solid technical skills and pragmatic work ethic, they ensured the smooth progress of the grid-connection work.

In the next phase, building on the successful grid connection, the project team will continue to optimize unit operating conditions, push forward the remaining trial-operation work, and make every effort to ensure the project enters formal commercial operation as soon as possible, contributing to a new level of ecological civilization and green development in Wuzhou.
