At 10:20 AM on April 15, 2026, fireworks roared at the site of the Liling Kibing Line 2 cold repair project. Amid cheers, the project successfully achieved its first ignition. Mr. Su Fengrong, Deputy General Manager of Zhuzhou Liling Kibing Glass Co., Ltd.; Mr. Wei Zhibin, Deputy Manager of the Glass & Glass Fiber Engineering Business Division of Henan Installation Group; Mr. Zheng Fuke, Project Manager; and the on-site construction team jointly witnessed this important moment. The smooth ignition ceremony marked a phased victory for the project. The next phase – cooperation on furnace heating and commissioning – will lay a solid foundation for subsequent full-line production.
Since construction began on December 1, 2025, the project has faced many challenges. Under tight deadlines and heavy workloads, the project team strictly followed design requirements and industry norms to coordinate and advance various tasks, including furnace masonry, steel structure fabrication and installation, utility system fabrication and installation, and in-channel electrical installation. In response to difficulties such as the complex furnace structure, high precision requirements for masonry, multiple overlapping work sequences, and strict safety control standards, the team consistently prioritized safety and quality. They scientifically planned the construction schedule, strengthened process control, and optimized workflow connections. Facing schedule pressure and safety management challenges, they adopted reverse schedule and strictly controlled key milestones. By optimizing construction methods and implementing day-and-night shift work, the team established a robust safety management system, held weekly safety morning meetings every Monday and Thursday, and achieved a zero-accident record. To address material supply challenges, they actively coordinated with suppliers and set up an emergency supply mechanism, effectively ensuring that construction progress was not impacted. The hard work and dedication of all staff at every milestone reflected the Henan Installation team’s spirit of “especially hardworking, especially dedicated, and especially capable in battle,” and earned high praise from the owner.
All members of the project team carried forward the fine traditions of Henan Installation Group. They controlled every process and detail with higher standards and stricter requirements, completing key tasks such as the fabrication and installation of the furnace steel structure, furnace masonry, utility system fabrication and installation, and in-channel electrical commissioning with high quality, ensuring that the project was ready for on-time ignition. In the next steps, the team will continue to provide furnace heating monitoring, operational support, and follow-up services. They will track the furnace temperature rise and commissioning process throughout to ensure stable furnace operation and early achievement of design capacity.
