At 4:15 AM on June 11, with the pouring of the final concrete truck completed, the main structure of the Luoyang Normal University Kindergarten (Preschool Education Practice and Training Center) building project, constructed by the Construction Engineering Division of the Group Company, was successfully topped out. This critical milestone signifies a major phase achievement in the project, laying a solid foundation for subsequent construction work.
Located in the northwest corner of Luoyang Normal University, the project spans a construction area of 6,495.36 square meters and is designed for 15 classes. Built to the standards of a provincial exemplary kindergarten, it is a key initiative aimed at establishing a high-quality provincial preschool education brand and advancing the high-quality development of early childhood education in the Yibin District.
Since the project's commencement, the construction team has meticulously coordinated critical processes, ensuring scientific management in safety, quality, progress, dust control, and worker real-name system compliance. Overcoming numerous challenges, the team has driven the project forward efficiently. The on-site builders have braved scorching heat and worked around the clock, dedicating themselves to the construction frontlines.
During the initial soil replacement phase, to ensure compaction quality and progress, each layer of compaction often continued late into the night. To obtain test data promptly and proceed to the next layer of backfilling, testing engineer Liu Chang frequently worked until dawn, actively coordinating with supervising engineers for nighttime sampling and testing—ensuring data moved ahead of schedule.
For the critical prefabricated floor slab hoisting process, project managers served as on-site supervisors, providing technical guidance to the construction teams. Despite each floor’s hoisting taking approximately four days, the management team persevered under the blazing sun, overseeing operations late into the night to guarantee installation precision and safety.
While the main structure was under construction, outdoor pipeline networks and paving works progressed simultaneously. The project team planned ahead, meticulously analyzing potential workspace conflicts and devising detailed coordination strategies to resolve bottlenecks promptly. This ensured an efficient and orderly working environment for all teams, maintaining the overall construction pace.
The successful topping-out of the main structure embodies the collective wisdom and hard work of all participants, reflecting the project team’s collaborative and tenacious efforts. Moving forward, the project will transition into secondary structure work, electromechanical installation, interior finishing, and outdoor engineering. The team will continue upholding the "especially capable of enduring hardship, fighting, and contributing" spirit of Henan Installation, strictly adhering to safety protocols, quality control, and timeline management.
