At 11:18 am on December 8, 2021, the Kazakhstan Қызылорда‎'s float glass production line with an annual output of 197,100 tons was successfully ignited. The Speaker of the House of Lords of Kazakhstan Ashenbayev led senior officials of the Kazakhstan government, local governor Gulisala, China National Building Material Vice President Yue Tao, project manager Shan Xu, China Glass Manager Jia Shaohui, owner Jiang Dus and others attended the event and started the igniting ceremony.

This glass project is the first float glass production line in the five Central Asian countries and also a key project of the national One Belt and Road Initiative. The successful ignition of this production line is a breakthrough in the float glass production line in the five Central Asian countries. It is also the first float glass production line in Central Asia and is of great historical significance to the promotion of the glass industry. The successful ignition of this project can be seen as a great gift for the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 16, 2021.
