Xinjiang Haoyuan Boiler Installation Project: Successful Single-Lift Installation of No. 2 Boiler Steam Drum

Recently, the boiler installation project at Xinjiang Haoyuan Chemical, undertaken by the No. 1 Engineering Company of the Group Company, achieved a key milestone — the steam drum of No. 2 boiler was successfully hoisted and positioned in a single lift. This was the last boiler drum of the project, marking the successful completion of all drum hoisting work. The boiler installation has now officially entered the phase of connecting boiler body pipelines, laying a solid foundation for subsequent hydraulic pressure tests and the project's scheduled commissioning.

This hoisting operation took place during a critical period of intensive construction, with frequent cross-work between multiple companies and multiple specialties on site. The project department coordinated civil construction, steel structure, installation, and safety personnel from various teams, completing in advance the clearance of the hoisting area, acceptance of brackets, and setup of safety barriers. Team leaders and technical backbone remained at key positions throughout the process, overcoming adverse conditions such as continuous strong winds and large day‑night temperature differences, demonstrating excellent technical capability and a resilient work ethic.

The successful hoisting of the last steam drum of No. 2 boiler has greatly boosted the morale of the entire project team. Going forward, the project department will intensify efforts on the installation of boiler body pipelines, including downcomers, saturated steam outlet pipes, feedwater pipes, and blowdown systems. Work on the assembly and welding of boiler heating surfaces and hydraulic pressure tests will also be carried out in an orderly manner. All team members will continue to uphold the principles of "safety first, quality foremost, and schedule priority," completing subsequent tasks to high standards and with high efficiency, delivering a satisfactory outcome to the owner.
